What We Build

Our Services

From initial design to final hydrotest, we handle every stage of fabrication in house. While we specialize in stainless steel, we also fabricate in mild steel to meet a wide range of project requirements.

Pressure Vessels

Custom designed horizontal and vertical pressure vessels fabricated to ASME Section VIII, PED, and local regulatory standards. Available in 304, 316L, and duplex stainless grades.

Heat Exchangers

Shell and tube, plate, and spiral heat exchangers engineered for maximum thermal efficiency. Full sizing calculations and TEMA standards compliance.

Process Tanks & Vessels

Mixing tanks, storage vessels, reactor vessels, and jacketed tanks for chemical, food, and pharmaceutical processes all with full certification documentation.

Process Piping & Skids

Engineered pipework, manifolds, and fully assembled process skids. Isometric drawings, spool fabrication, and pressure testing as standard.

Columns & Towers

Distillation columns, absorption towers, and packed columns with internals. Full tray layout, downcomers, and support ring fabrication in house.

Repairs & Modifications

On site and workshop repair of existing pressure equipment, including re rating, nozzle additions, liner replacement, and full re certification to current standards.

  • As an established manufacturer of pressure vessels and allied equipment, Vessel Fab (PTY) Ltd supplies high quality fabrications and sound welding to the industry at a competitive price.
  • The safety of our product and the satisfaction of our clients are paramount.
  • Equipment is supplied in stainless steel, higher alloys and carbon steel. Orders for this equipment will be executed in accordance with customer’s requirements and specifications.
  • Vessel Fab will maintain a quality management program which satisfies the requirements specified in the international standard ISO 3834–2, “Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding of Metallic Materials – Part 2: Comprehensive Quality Requirements,” as well as Appendix 10 of ASME VIII Div. 1 “Quality Control System.”
  • This quality control system employed by Vessel Fab conforms to SANS 347 paragraph 7.1.9(a), “SANS 3834 and ASME VIII Div. 1 Appendix 10.”
  • The required skills and processes will be improved through on the job training.
  • Vessel Fab will strive to continuously improve the Quality Management System. The necessary resources and information will be provided to all concerned parties. All processes will be monitored.

Inspection & Testing Our in house QC team carries out full material certification checks, dimensional inspection, weld visual and NDT, and hydrostatic or pneumatic pressure testing before any vessel leaves the workshop.
